There's been a wave of many articles being made for fangames. I've been deleting the ones that are obscure and put up only as advertising. However, I'm wondering if we should have articles at all. As we're a Wiki for canon games and information, should fangames even be included? I'm leaning towards deleting all pages for fangames (no matter how well-made nor popular) and keeping this Wiki official. Your thoughts? Wolf O'Donnell is a big supporter for that too. Still, I think Super Smash Flash and its sequel should be the only fan game articles. They're tremendously popular, and popularity is a very important factor. The more popular an article is, the more readers it will attract. Also, Super Smash Flash is one of the most visited articles on here. If we delete a major article like that, we'll lose a great number of readers. That's the whole point of SmashWiki: to create articles with verified information and thus attract more readers. Us losing readers is like a business losing customers, and neither situation is good. Therefore, to maintain a large amount of readers, we should keep very popular and well made articles like Super Smash Flash on this site. - [[User:GalaxiaD|GalaxiaD]] ([[User talk:GalaxiaD|talk]]) 18:04, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
