In the [[Pokémon]] games, ExtremeSpeed is a move that always goes first, similarly to [[Quick Attack]], but more powerful. Unfortunately, in SSBB, Lucario's ExtremeSpeed does no damage. Also, there is noticeable lag at the end of the move. Nevertheless, its still a decent special recovery move.

ExtremeSpeed is Lucario's Up Special Move. When used, Lucario stops for a brief moment, and then dashes in the direction chosen. It is possible to change directions during the dash, as well as being able to Wall Cling if it comes in contact with a wall, making it a very useful recovery move. However, Extremespeed deals no damage, and as such, should only be used for either escaping attacks, or recovery.

In the Pokémon games, ExtremeSpeed is a physical normal-type move that always goes first, similar to Quick Attack, but twice as powerful.

The Subspace Emissary boss Rayquaza also uses Extremespeed as an attack, in which it dashes back and forth across the screen, dealing damage and high knockback, unlike Lucario's recovery only version.
