Brawl+ is a working project designed to make various aspects of Brawl more competitive. It is only available by modifying the Wii with specific software. More information can be found on the Brawl+ FAQ at Smash World Forums.
Currently available features include:
- Eliminated tripping when dashing.
- Faster gameplay speed.
- Increased hitstun (allowing for truly inescapable combos).
- Increased gravity.
- More balancing of characters. -Captain Falcon, for example, has been significantly improved.
- A new character select screen.
- Fully independent versions of Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard . Stamina and Pokemon Change have been removed, and the Pokemon do not change upon revival.
