Moveset swaps are when hacking devices such as Action Replay are used to give character models different movesets from other characters. The results from this vary. Some characters become glitchy and unusable, while the physical characteristics almost always merge between the two characters. This has also been done in Melee.
Examples:
- Mariolimar- Mario's character model with Olimar's moveset.
- Roadkill- Sonic's character model with Fox's moveset.
- Ganonchu- Pikachu's character model with Ganondorf's moveset.
- Wolvereach- Peach with Sonic's moveset.
- Manly-Man- Snake with Captain Falcon's moveset.
