The '''Friend Roster''' is the list of Friends of ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]''. To register friends, the player must enter their 12-digit [[Friend Code]]. When both people enter each other's Friend Code, they will be able to see each other's profile. The player will only be able to register 64 friends.

To the left of the profile, a player will be able to put a picture or logo of a character that they currently have unlocked, a boss or enemy they have beaten, or a Mii. Above the picture, a player will be able to put up their name, which will show up in-game when they are playing with Friends and they are not using another name chosen on the character select screen.
