Flamethrower is Charizard's Neutral B attack. It appears visually similar to Bowser's Fire Breath, though with smaller flames.  The stream of flames can be directed up or down by tilting the thumbstick in a particular direction. The flame dies down the longer the attack is used, however, it will never stop despite the flames becoming extremely small as long as the player keeps holding the B button. This move is fitting to Charizard (unlike Rock Smash), and can be said to be his signature move.

Flamethrower is Charizard's Neutral B attack. It appears visually similar to Bowser's Fire Breath, though with smaller flames and with longer range.

Origins

Flamethrower is a very common Fire attack in the Pokémon games and is used frequently due to its above average power and accuracy. It is also Charizard's attack as a Poké Ball summon in the previous two Super Smash Bros. games.
