Flamethrower is a very common Fire attack in the [[Pokémon (universe)|''Pokémon'' games]] and is used frequently. It is also Charizard's attack as a [[Charizard|Poké Ball summon]] in the previous two [[Super Smash Bros.]] games. It is not yet known whether it functions the same way that it did in [[Super Smash Bros.|the original]] and [[Melee]] or not, although a recent video has shown Charizard using it the same way that Bowser uses his Fire Breath attack.
