Shy Guys (Japanese: ヘイホー, Heihoo) are found in the Yoshi's Story stage of Super Smash Bros. Melee. When you attack them they will continue floating or get hit off the screen. If items are turned on they will carry Food items to the stage. Attack them to make them drop the food.

For every Shy Guy you KO, you get 20 points added to your "Shy Guy KO" bonus.

Shy Guys driving Go Karts also appear as Mute City-style hazards in Mario Circuit.
