So as to not edit war, I want to clarify that while Max Brass and Dr. Coyle Hedlok are both potential final bosses in Grand Prix mode, Max Brass uses the standard Hedlok theme ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhWlFEx3ETQ this one]) while Dr. Coyle has a special one ([https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqVNp95uJ0g this one]). That, and the in-game text also directly describes the Coyle Hedlok battle as "the grand finale", which leads me to believe it's probably referring to that by process of elimination.
