Dark Samus[edit]

Dark Samus' page references it/her as female several times, including in the in-game text of the trophy. I am not sure whether this edit is correct, as I've been away from the game for several years and am not really up to date on the game's content; that said, there is a clear discrepancy in the trivia pages, as Dark Samus' page references it/her as being the first female villain because it considers Wendy just a reskin, while the Koopalings page implies the exact opposite. Perhaps it would be better to note the discrepancy in what "counts" on both pages? – Emmett 06:12, 21 September 2018 (EDT)

Edit war[edit]

You and SuperSmashTurtles got into an edit war on the List of minor universes page about Flicky. Next time use the talk page to discuss your reasonings before adding the edit back in, as you're not allowed to make the same revision that was just reverted. 001Toad.jpg OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 05:25, March 20, 2020 (EDT)

Do all your edits in one go[edit]

Hi, I've noticed you've been making a lot of consecutive edits on the Now You're Playing with Portable Power! page.

I highly sugggest to do all your edits in one go and even make use of the "Show preview" button, as your edits are clogging the page's edit history and the Recent changes page, as well as making your edits harder to review. SW:IMAGE[edit]

When uploading images, the filenames should give an idea on what the image is. "Expand.gif", "Internet explorer.png", and "Im a star wars.png" do not give any indication of what the content is. Additionally, you should add categories to them when you upload. --CanvasK (talk) 09:12, September 3, 2023 (EDT)

Star KO Billboarding[edit]

Do you happen to have a list of stages that you know have billboard Star KOs? I was looking through the .stprm files and there is a value next to the Star/Screen KO toggles that isn't currently labelled which could be what affects if a model is billboarded or not. --CanvasK (talk) 23:55, February 10, 2026 (UTC)

I don't unfortunately, if I had I would probably have an incomplete userpage for it. IIRC Smashville is billboarded and Town & City isn't? But I could be wrong on that. --What could possibly go wrong? - BubzieBobkat (talk) 07:54, February 11, 2026 (UTC)
If your memory is correct on those, then the value I'm looking at isn't it. Those 2 stages have a lot of duplicate values and the ones that are different are labelled and shouldn't affect it. Also checked the .lvd files and nothing stands out. Just for clarity, by "billboarded 3D models" do you mean their models rotate to align to the camera? --CanvasK (talk) 11:32, February 11, 2026 (UTC)
Honestly, I was probably incorrect on Smashville/T&C - very vague memory there. Also, yeah, that would be correct - though the billboarding effect is a little flimsy and the model view does still turn (dunno if that would be the right word) a little if you push it on free camera enough. There is a mod commission I had gotten recently where I specifically asked for a billboarding effect (https://gamebanana.com/mods/634950 - Arkanoid Vaus/Ivysaur) and that billboarding effect falters the longer that stance is used. The billboarding *might* be on Wily Castle. I use a modded stage over that, but if the billboarding is indeed undocumented, whatever variable controls billboarding would be intact - and again, I haven't been keeping track of this in depth, so Wily Castle may be false memory too. --What could possibly go wrong? - BubzieBobkat (talk) 11:48, February 11, 2026 (UTC)

Your edits[edit]

It's been brought up that some of your edits feature weird points or seem to be you reading too much into the semantics. The few that were pointed out include:

  • This edit regarding GoldenEye's first installment being the Tiger LCD Handheld. This stayed up for a while, but from what I gathered the general consensus was that, while it does come before the 64 game, the Tiger version was a different game that licenses the same film/universe. This is similar to calling the Raimi, Webb, and MCU Spider-Man films as one Spider-Man series; just because they feature the same property does not necessarily mean they are in the same series.
  • Calling Jigsaw Jumble a spin-off of Smash. It's clearly a promotional piece/advertisement, and should be interpreted as nothing more.
  • This point regarding branding vs concept. There is a pretty clear difference between the Game & Watch and any generic handheld LCD: the Game & Watch has a brand and copyright.
  • This edit regarding Banjo's position on the ballot. This is a major jump in logic when the simpler answer is just "Banjo followed Sora", especially since the latter was what Sakurai said. Not to mention, just because one character from a company was under negotiations, does not mean all characters from a company was fair game (this is ignoring the fact that Banjo and Steve are also under different subsidiaries of Microsoft, and therefore any possible negotiations will have to involve different people). Finally, it's pretty clear at this point that "realizable and negotiable" was just a vague statement to justify Bayonetta's addition.

Please be aware of this in the future, since many of these edits have been reverted or contested. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 00:26, April 22, 2026 (UTC)
