Majors[edit]
While Smash Ultimate Summit 4 and 5 were stacked, they only scored 3761 and 4006, respectively, on OrionRank. The supermajor threshold on OrionRank, and the wiki as well, is currently 4,800, so both tournaments are not supermajors. Cookies

Not a big fan of tournaments being classed as supermajors in a none-ranking based context based on a TTS, melee summits wouldn't be considered supermajors with a TTS but they're by far the hardest and most stacked events of each year and that should apply to Ultimate as well, please consider changing this threshold as an OrionRank supermajor is it's own definition and stands separate from an actual definition of a supermajor —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bigmeatthing (talk • contribs) 14:10, October 2, 2022 (EDT)
- Melee is a very different game from Ultimate; there's maybe 12 players in the world capable of winning majors in Melee, while there's at least 4 times that number in Ultimate. Depth matters a lot more in Ultimate, so a 16 player tournament cannot be an Ult supermajor. A competent Melee TTS would reflect this. OrionRank's TTS has some issues, but it saying that Summits aren't supermajors is not one of them. Stuart98 (talk) 14:48, October 2, 2022 (EDT)
