Meta Knight (SSBB)[edit]

Normal Ground Attacks[edit]

  • Jab Infinite AKA Barrage/Hundred Rending Attack: 乱れ斬り, Disordered Cutter
  • Dash Attack: コウモリ蹴り, Bat Kick (original kanji is 蝙蝠)
  • Forward/side tilt 1 AKA Side strong attack 1: 袈裟斬り, Kasaya Cutter (Named after the same type of attack)
    • Forward/side tilt 2 AKA Side strong attack 2: 返し斬り, Return Cutter
      • Forward/side tilt 3 AKA Side strong attack 3: 跳ね上げ Spring Up
  • Up tilt AKA Up strong attack: 螺旋突き上げ, Spiraling Up-Thrust
  • Down/low tilt AKA Down/low strong attack: 下段突き, Low-Level Thrust

Smash Attacks[edit]

  • Forward/side smash attack: 胴抜き, Torso Pilfer
  • Up smash attack: 旗振り三連, Flagwaving Triple
  • Down/low smash attack: 前後斬り, Front-and-Back Cutter

Aerial/Midair Attacks[edit]

  • Neutral aerial/midair attack: 空中回転斬り, Midair Rotating Cutter (Most likely the Japanese name of the Sword Ability's Sword Spin via the Link references)
  • Forward/front aerial AKA Forward/front midair attack: 空中前三連, Midair Front Triple
  • Back/rear aerial AKA Back/rear midair attack: 空中後三連, Midair Back Triple
  • Up aerial/midair attack: 空中上なぎ/空中上薙ぎ, Midair Upper Mower
  • Down/low aerial AKA Down/low midair attack: 空中下なぎ/空中下薙ぎ, Midair Lower Mower

Grabs and Throws[edit]

  • Grab/Catch: つかみ, Catch/Grasp
  • Pummel/Catch Attack: 翼爪, Wing Claw
  • Forward/front throw: つま先蹴り/爪先蹴り, Tiptoe Kick (DO NOT CONFUSE FOR RYŪ'S ORIGINAL FAR STANDING MK-TURNED-TAP FORWARD TILT)
  • Back/rear throw: ワープ斬り, Warp Cutter
  • Up throw: いずな落とし/飯綱落とし, Fox Spirit/Least Weasel Dropping (Japanese name for Ninja Ability's Air Drop)
  • Down/low throw: 踏みつけ, Trample (Different name from Kirby's)
