User:Cookies and Creme/Entrants count milestones in competitive Smash
Just a fun list of events that have received certain entrants count milestones.
100 entrants[edit]
Reaching triple-digits is often a major milestone for regions as it's a sign that the scene has a very active and growing community. Events that reach this milestone are among the first of the region's events that are recognized by a global ranking. The ordering for events in the 2000s to mid-2010s may not be the most accurate due to several events being missing from the wiki or having missing entrant counts.

200 entrants[edit]
During the PGRU days, the non-multiplier C tier threshold was 200 points. For many events, they often have to reach 200 entrants in order to count for the PGRU's TTS, which may be a difficult task. To alleviate this, the international multiplier was introduced, which allowed events from outside of the United States to qualify for a TTS with a smaller entrant count. As a result, being able to reach 200 entrants is a sign that the event could have qualified for the PGRU or a similar ranking without the multiplier.
Not included: Swiss Championship 2016. The event had over 200 entrants but likely had many disqualifications as it was a convention event. As no other Swiss event, even in Ultimate, has surpassed 200, it's very unlikely this event actually had over 200 entrants.

These regions host many majors each year and are the only regions that can host supermajors at a regular basis. To date, only 2 regions have reached this milestone.
