When it comes to horizontal recovery distance, jump height is not the sole determining factor. Below is the ranking of characters in terms of their ability to "glide", i.e how far horizontally they get in comparison to how far they fall vertically in a given amount of time (with a glide index of 1 meaning fall speed and air speed are identical, 0.5 meaning air speed is half of fall speed etc). This is a useful factor for determining how easily a fighter can get back to the stage if they get launched after they've used up their jump, and is also a general indicator of recovery potential alongside jump height and up special.
