'''Stiff Knees 4''' is the continuation of a tournament series that takes place in Edwardsville, Illinois and hosted by the SIUE Esports Club. Singles and Doubles for both ''[[Melee]]'' and ''[[Smash 4]]'' were held at the event as well as a Dragonball FighterZ side bracket. The tournament series has taken the role as a regional for The River Valley region, bringing in players from Champaign, Illinois, Davenport, Iowa, and St. Louis, Missouri. All venue fees paid by players were donated to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund, although the rest of the entry fees were added directly into the prize pool.
