It was the sixth and final installment of the [[Tournament:Smash Summit (series)|Smash Summit series]] for ''Ultimate'', and was held from March 23rd-26th, 2023 at the Summit Gaming House, a private residence house in Los Angeles, California, which is closed to the general public. **{{Sm|VoiD}} received the most votes out of anyone voted into a Smash Summit (at around 331,000 votes), surpassing {{Sm|Kola}}'s record from Smash Ultimate Summit 3.
**{{Sm|omega}} received the most votes for a player who was ultimately eliminated from the voting phase (at around 273,000 votes), surpassing {{Sm|Peanut}}'s record from Smash Ultimate Summit 3.
**This was the first time all vote-ins were sponsored.
*{{Sm|Aaron|p=Florida}} and {{Sm|VoiD}} became the first two players to get voted into a Smash Ultimate Summit twice.
**Coincidentally, both were first voted in for Smash Ultimate Summit 3.
*This was the first and only Smash Ultimate Summit without {{Sm|Dabuz}}, making {{Sm|MkLeo}} the only player to compete in every Smash Ultimate Summit.
*The final spot qualifier match between {{Sm|Skyjay}} and {{Sm|Lui$}} was in the midst of discussions of if {{SSBU|Incineroar}} or {{SSBU|Palutena}} can perform better in tournaments, following Skyjay's 2nd place run at {{Trn|Collision 2023}}.
*Sparg0's 13th place was the first time he has been eliminated before Top 8 of an offline ''Ultimate'' tournament since {{Trn|GENESIS 7}} in January 2020 (where he placed 49th).
*Seeding was not redone after {{Sm|Light|p=Connecticut}} dropped out, leading to Skyjay being highly elevated to 6th seed. With a couple upsets in the final bracket, Skyjay was able to match his seed anyway, tied for 5th place.
**Skyjay also outplaced fellow Mexican players MkLeo and {{Sm|Sparg0}} for the second ''Ultimate'' major in a row, after doing so at Collision 2023.
*{{Sm|acola}}'s loser's run is the longest of any ''Ultimate'' Smash Summit champion, and is tied for the longest for any game's Smash Summit with {{Sm|Mango}}'s at {{Trn|Smash Summit 11}}. acola lost to {{Sm|Big D}} in Winner's Quarterfinals and then won 7 consecutive sets from Top 12 onwards.
