GENESIS 3, like the two GENESIS events prior, featured another {{Sm|Armada}} vs. {{Sm|Mang0}} grand finals. Mang0 arrived in grand finals following a lengthy losers' run; after losing to {{Sm|Axe}} in winners' quarters, he defeated {{Sm|Plup}}, {{Sm|Nintendude}}, {{Sm|PPMD}}, Axe, and {{Sm|Hungrybox}} to make it to losers' side of grand finals. After a 3-1 bracket reset, Armada emerged victorious in the second set 3-1, claiming his second GENESIS title.
