'''2GGC: Midwest Mayhem Saga''' was a {{forwiiu}} [[major]] tournament and the 2nd qualifier in the [[2GG Championship Series]]. It took place at the eSports Arena in Santa Ana, California on February 11th, 2017 and featured singles, doubles, as well as a [[SoCal]] vs Midwest [[Crew Battle]].

True to its name, the event was dedicated to the [[Midwest Mayhem (tournament series)|Midwest Mayhem series]] (and the Midwest region in general) and featured past Midwest Mayhem winners {{Sm|Zinoto}}, {{Sm|6WX}}, and {{Sm|Ned}}, as well as other top players such as {{Sm|ZeRo}}, {{Sm|Larry Lurr}}, {{Sm|Tweek}} and {{Sm|Samsora}}. Three other Midwest-based tournaments; [[FTS: The WRECKpublic]], [[Kingslayer 2]], and [[Midwest Mayhem 7: Mexico Invasion]]; were qualifiers for this event; the top-placing Midwest player from each was flown out to compete. In addition to this, the winner of a pre-registration raffle for Midwest Mayhem 7: Mexico Invasion was also flown out to the event. 

This tournament is also a qualifier for [[Midwest Mayhem 8: North American Tour]]; the highest placing Southern Californian player will be flown out to the event.
