:I changed the default from "no link" to "relevant link". Unlinking is done by setting <code>l=</code> to blank. I'm not changing the default size; {{t|sm}} takes care of that. At the moment, not specifying a game yields the Brawl head for characters who have one. Any reason not to update this to using the SSB4 heads when possible? (I'm specifically asking in the context of [[Template:FinalSmash]], where having most of the heads link to the SSB4 character pages is less than ideal.) :Right now that's not really an issue with the template, it's more an issue with not all the "CharHead.png" images (without a game affiliation) having been re-redirected to SSB4 heads. So the solution is not to change this template, but to change the relevant image redirects.
:Or, we can go with a different potential solution: turning the "CharHead.png" set into generic, game-independent icons. I found an old SVG file where I was putting together something similar that looks like [http://i.imgur.com/WSwF5Nc.png this]. It's got a lot of unnecessary stuff on it right now, and I'd had to do some tweaking to get it to look decent on light backgrounds, but you get the idea.
