Phoenix1 (P1), currently known as Sentinels, is a professional esports organization based in Los Angeles, California. Founded by Rob Moore, they competed in the LCS (League of Legends North American League) between 2016 and 2018. The team rebranded as Sentinels since June 7th, 2018 and are now exclusively dedicated to shooter games. In mid-2020, an team independent to Sentinels, named Phoenix1 Reborn entered the Valorant scene.

Phoenix1 ventured into the Super Smash Bros. competitive scene by signing Tweek on February 10th, 2017 as their first player. Two months later, Phoenix1 signed the Melee Samus player Duck on April 11th, 2017. Eventually, the Bayonetta player Captain Zack joined the organization on June 6th, 2017. A few weeks before Phoenix1's rebrand, on May 17th, 2018, the three smashers were freed of their contracts.[1][2][3]
