*Domino Effect's namesake came from an incident at the original Domino Effect where there was an inaequate amount of Domino's Pizza availible for the attendees, causing many of them to play hungry.
**A future Domino Effect would be "sponsored" by Domino's Pizza, supplying an ample amount of Pizza for every competitor.
*Domino Effect has used at least 9 unique venues (not counting the house tournament era prior to Domino Effect 8) and alternated between venues multiple times, making it Washington's tournament with the most venue changes by a large margin (The runner-up being Port Priority, which has used 4 unique venue locations.)
*Starting at Domino Effect 18, a large portion of the profits generated from tournaments have been donated to the Coalition for Rainforest Nations.
**Previous Domino Effect tournaments have also been for charitable causes, as Domino Effect 8 doubled as a canned food drive.
*At Domino Effect 18, {{Sm|Ludo}} completed one of the Pacific Northwest's longest losers runs, where after losing in Winners Round 1 of top 32 to {{Sm|Solo}}, he beat {{Sm|Pokepen}}, {{Sm|Mystery Sol}}, {{Sm|embo_z}}, {{Sm|JDV}}, {{Sm|SPARKLE}}, and {{Sm|H4DS}} to win the tournament.
