Dignitas (DIG), previously known as Team Dignitas, is a professional esports organization founded in the United Kingdom and currently based in Newark, United States. The team was founded my Michel O'Neill in September 2003 after the merge of numerous Battlefield 1942 clans. They are considered as one of the most prestigious and successful organizations from Europe with numerous wins and distinctions across multiple games such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Counter Strike 1.6, Heroes of the Storm, FIFA, Trackmania, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Starcraft II.

Dignitas started their journey into the competitive Smash scene by signing the Melee Samus main HugS, on January 12th, 2018.[1] Three days later, Dignitas announced the signing of the Californian Melee Fox main Lucky on January 15th, 2020, to complete their roster.[2] Two years later, on January 14th, 2020, Lucky left Dignitas.[3] Three years later, on May 23rd, 2023, HugS would also part ways with Dignitas.[4]
