Status of the nearby PM event

Has it been decided how will the wiki report on it? I'm aware that it'd be frowned upon to make a whole wiki page for a side event as it'd be an exceptional case, but the whole reason the PM event isn't on this page is because it was explicitly denied as a side event to begin with, thus making it an independent event, which would qualify for its own page. This notion of independence seems to be supported by the TO, Dirtboy (he liked a tweet with the same suggestion as mine).

For the record, it was a notable tournament; for a smaller game like PM, a 96-man tournament is a regional based on size alone. Add in the numerous Out-of-State players, and the overall quality of the competition (Professor Pro only got 5th... just look at his page for what his usual results are), and we've got ourselves a fairly notable tournament, if you ask me.

Full disclosure: I did try to create said page yesterday, but an admin (Serpent King) removed it and explained to me that how to proceed in this case was still being discussed. I'm not sure how exactly said discussion is to be done (in public, or if it is done in private by the admins), which is why i'm posting this message (although i'm not sure if this is the right place, the forums might be better).

tl;dr Can i create a page for this event? If not, where else in the wiki should i document it?

Does the tournament has a name that has no relation to TBH? If so, I see no issue with it having its own page as an independent event. As far as I'm aware, that's really the only sticking point at this time. Toomai Glittershine The Quintonic 22:30, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

I have my doubts, but I do have an idea. Would you be cool with doing a "Project M in The Big House" with both the first and second event? I know it doesn't really solve the name problem, but it does seem like it justifies having an article in the first place. Serpent King 23:01, 15 October 2016 (EDT)

Just got an answer from the TO for the PM event. Unfortunately, there is no other name (even if there were, thre certainly aren't any other logos for the tournaments). I would assume that SK's idea is good enough, but if not i'm all ears for other ideas. My personal opinion on the name issue is that it isn't our issue, and whoever has a problem with it should talk to Dirtboy, not to us. Yeah, it sucks that it's misleading about the relationship between events, but that's the name. On our end we can clarify at the top of the article and be done with it.
