Out of curiosity, I started up Crazy Hand v1.31 to look at the script for EscapeN for Peach, and I was surprised to learn that the Async Timer for the IASA command is set for frame 25, while the total frames value in the table shows 27. I looked at other characters, and a pattern emerged: 14 intangible frame fighters have a frame 20 interrupt, 17 intangible frame fighters have a frame 25 interrupt, 18 intangible frame fighters (Falcon & Zelda) have an IASA of 29, and so on. I checked MeleeFrameData, and it shows the same values as the Melee table on the page. Is this just a case of Crazy Hand reading the move scripts incorrectly? Is the total frames value just the animation length? Am I gonna have to go through and add the IASA frames for every single spot dodge in Melee? :I tested in game (1.02 with Peach, Bowser, Captain Falcon) and looked in HSDRaw and apparently the Allow Interrupt function just doesn't do anything for EscapeN. Meaning they have to go through the entire animation, which is the value shown in the tables. <s>It isn't CrazyHand or HSDRaw reading the script wrong, the game is just jank.</s> --CanvasK (talk) 07:30, June 30, 2025 (EDT)

::That's great news! Interestingly enough, they seem to have fixed this issue in Brawl, as the IASA frame for lines up with the value given in the table. Mariogeek2 (talk) 09:48, June 30, 2025 (EDT)
