Talk:Special move canceling
This page should be retitled to "Special Canceling" since that is the most well used term for this mechanic and is the name of the mechanic in both Street Fighter and SNK fighting games. I believe this would be easier to find with that renaming.

- Support, speaking as someone who heavily supported Terry's early metagame through SmashCords. I always heard Special cancel, never saw "move" amongst it, and if it's still that way now, then this change is a no-brainer. --

Oppose, special move canceling is a more descriptive term. Special canceling can mean multiple things in the series, so simply calling it that can cause confusion.The Other Jared (talk) 12:55, November 29, 2023 (EST)
