What I mean to say is Sonic's meteor smash in Smash 4 is frame 19 while its earliest hit (which hits upward) is at frame 17. Sonic's meteor in Ultimate looks like it could be it's earliest hitting frame, what ever it may be. <span style="font-family:Corbel; font-size:12pt"><span style="color:darkblue">Smash <span style="color:darkgreen">Master</span></span></span> 14:38, 11 September 2018 (EDT)

Knockback
@Trainer Alex (or anybody, Idc who), have you tried testing it yourself? Knockback isn't effected by the 1.2x damage multiplier in training mode just test it for yourself, and Sonic's up smash too... <span style="font-family:Corbel; font-size:12pt"><span style="color:darkblue">Smash <span style="color:darkgreen">Master</span></span></span> 13:36, 29 December 2018 (EST)
:So no one wants to explain how knockback may be different from Smash 4? Cuz I'm still confused... <span style="font-family:Corbel; font-size:12pt"><span style="color:darkblue">Smash <span style="color:darkgreen">Master</span></span></span> 14:56, 29 December 2018 (EST)
::But the higher final damage does. Also there are other systematic errors that can occur (for instance we still don't know the gravity stat changes, and this is an important factor too).. In the case of Nair it's very easy to demonstrate the knockback being unaltered as the tumble percent is the same. ==Dash Attack==
Is his Dash atttack a reference to his move in Sonic the Fighters where he runs and gives a kick? The Dash Kick or something?

:I’ll have to check this myself, but if you’ve already confirmed it, there’s no reason why you couldn’t have added this yourself - the page is not protected. == Sonic Victory poses ==
For reference, I am using the static camera angles from Brawl. Sonic's left victory pose at the end is a reference to artwork from Sonic Advance (also used in the boxarts and select screen) and used later as a victory pose in Sonic Advance 2, noting that he also stops running like in Smash (in sprite sheet, the 6th row from the bottom).
His right victory pose at the end also might be a reference to Sonic Adventure victory pose (I say "also" as the wiki says the quote is from Sonic Adventure).

:I can buy these. I will note, the Advance 2 connection seems a bit off, and it's really only the ending pose of the right victory pose that matches Adventure, but everything else seems solid enough to me. :Yep, I am mostly talking about their poses and not the animations as I do agree the wiki article. So the left pose must be taken from the first Advance game but found interesting they actually used it as a victory pose / course clear animation in Advance 2 in which well, he stops running before striking the pose, and that's more or less what he does in the Smash victory pose (I still think the first part running is a nod to the SEGA logo intro in Sonic 2).
