Talk:Share stock
Merge[edit]
This page could probably be merged with team battle, if that would be wise. Zixor (talk) 12:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
Fallen Allies[edit]
Can a fallen ally pause the match at any time in any way? Zixor (talk) 12:17, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- In the original SSB, any player (dead or not) could pause the game. But in Melee and Brawl only players who are still alive can pause the game. Xeze (talk) 00:08, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
So, you could pause by pressing start, but if your team mate had an extra life, this would instead steal it? Zixor (talk) 00:00, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
[edit]
I know that Share Stock exists in SSB4 because there is a voice clip in the sounds menu that has the announcer say "Share Stock". Could someone investigate further on this? Aidan the Gamer 16:51, 11 October 2014 (EDT)
- I'm pretty sure that Share Stock works by pressing A+B. Scr7

CPU stock sharing[edit]
I just played a Team Battle in SSBU with a CPU that got knocked out, and I still had all stocks remaining, against another CPU opponent with just one stock (all CPUs are level 9).
My CPU teammate didn't take a single one of my stocks. This could be an indication that the CPU might have some sort of situational awareness, specifically about when the teammate is "in danger".
Just an assumption. The stage was Hyrule Temple. Ramjam (talk) 13:27, September 28, 2025 (EDT)
