:No it doesn't. Player Avatars never get any form of back story, and as a result, the wiki doesn't have an article for them. You make a character, you're put into the games world, and you hunt. No back story, character development, or anything. == Origin images ==

As someone who's never played ''Monster Hunter'', I tried my best to find suitable origin images for the Hunter's Armor and Rathalos Armor. I figured that ''Monster Hunter 4'' would be the source of the designs, since it appears to be the most recent entry in the series at the time of SSB4's DLC. However, if anyone else (i.e. someone who's actually played the games) can identify a closer match to the Mii costumes, then please replace the images I've uploaded.

	:I noticed that the [[Rathalos]] article compared the Rathalos Armor to the design from ''Monster Hunter Tri'', and... yeah, I think that's a closer match than the image I found from ''Monster Hunter 4''. So, I've swapped in some [https://twitter.com/standbyfortitan/status/553006772257312768 concept art] from that game, since that seems to be the highest quality image I can find of that armor...
