I can understand not believing the glitch, but just search "mama luigi" on youtube. Bobertbojo2 (talk)

The methods in the article and in the video disagree:

  • The video features Captain Falcon instead of Ike
  • The move used to KO players 1,2 and 3 is Blue Falcon instead of Eruption
  • The video features Wario instead of Mario

This implies that it doesn't matter who KOs all the other players, or with what move, and that it doesn't matter who the player in the middle of the group that get KOd is. Does it work with characters other than Luigi and Peach? The article says that the glitch can be performed "with any characters", which then brings the name of the article into question, as only two characters wear dresses, so most of the time no dress would appear on the results screen. Further research is required. PenguinofDeath 14:12, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

To my knowledge, you can do the triple knockout with any character, and you can put a dress on anyone. The person who created the article didn't know that. --Posted by Pikamander2 (Talk) at 14:40, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
The video also has the characters lined up in the order Luigi, Wario, Peach, Captain Falcon, whereas the article says it should be Luigi, Peach, Mario, Ike. Does it only work if Peach is present, and, if so, does it not matter where Peach is? Can you put the dress on a character who's bigger than Peach, like Bowser, or does it only work because Luigi's head and arms are bigger than Peach's, so appear above hers, but because his body's a lot thinner the dress appears on top? I think a video showing it being done on a different stage and with all characters different would help. Then we can actually start to think about what's going on in the game to make that happen. Rendundant?[edit]

It may sound redundant, but Luigi's head overlaps Peach's head while her dress overlaps his legs. ShupaRoehTypicalGuy.png 13:25, 20 June 2012 (EDT)
