Talk:List of spirits (Persona series)
Where did the information for the spirits come from? As far as I'm aware, only three Persona spirits were shown. Unless if the update released early in other parts of the world. Crazy456Rhino (talk) 09:26, April 17, 2019 (EDT)
- A whole board of Persona spirits were shown in the video here. SugarCookie 420 09:57, April 17, 2019 (EDT)
- Ah, ok. Thank you. Crazy456Rhino (talk) 10:07, April 17, 2019 (EDT)
On Makoto Niijima's spirit fight section, it states "The stage represents the interior of Junya Kaneshiro's palace, the location in Persona 5 featuring a castle-like setting where Makoto first awakens her Persona". Anyone who's played Persona 5 would recognize this is incorrect, as Kaneshiro's palace is a bank, not a castle, and the stage seems to be more based on the fact that Kaneshiro's palace floats, like how Dracula's Castle in its Ω form is a floating rock. I was just wondering if it would be alright to change that section to be more accurate. Lnk2428 (talk) 4:30, December 28, 2023 (EDT)
Goro Akechi's Spirit Battle Inspiration section currently suggests "The Reversible Controls rule references Akechi's ability to inflict psychotic breakdowns using his true Persona, Loki." I'd interpret it instead as being a reference to the fact he (in P5's plot) suddenly switches sides. --51.190.144.2 08:43, April 9, 2024 (EDT)
Many of the spirits that can evolve in the game upgrade to forms that aren't usually seen until the end of the game. Caroline and Justine are one such case (their true form is Lavenza, and Yaldabaoth had split her in two and tampered with her memories as part of his efforts to hinder Joker's progress), but they are incapable of evolving. Even taking into account that this is a big spoiler (although, given how spoileriffic the wiki is already, that shouldn't be a problem), shouldn't that be mentioned in the Trivia section? - Only primary spirits have enhanceable forms; Caroline & Justine are a support spirit, meaning they aren't eligible in being enhanced.
- Even if they were a primary spirit, it's not exactly uncommon for a spirit to not have an enhanceable form despite the character depicted having a more powerful form in their home series.
For example, despite Venusaur, Blastoise, Pinsir, Ampharos, Steelix, Scizor, Heracross, Houndoom, Tyranitar, Blaziken, Absol, Salamence, Metagross, Rayquaza, Garchomp, and Abomasnow all having both primary spirits and Mega Evolutions, only Kangaskhan and Diancie ever got their Megas as enhanceable spirits.
Also, as far as I'm aware, the Rex spirit's enhanceable form is also a huge spoiler (I remember it being blurred during Pyra & Mythra's Mr. Sakurai Presents video), so I don't think it really matters either way. 🧥The Jacketed Terrapin🐢 19:22, September 1, 2025 (EDT)
