| :As I have always understood it, an “edge” is any corner of a platform, regardless of whether it has a Cliff programmed into it. The term “edge cancel”, referring to interrupting aerials by landing so that the character goes straight into his Ottotto animation that interrupts his LandingAir animation, further shows that “edge” and “ledge” are ''not'' the same.
