2v2/Teams/Doubles[edit]

This article says that "doubles" is more commonly referred to as "teams," but there's no teams article, nor do either of them re-direct to one another. What do you think is the actual standard? I know a lot of people who call it doubles and I know a lot of people who call it teams. SmashBoards uses "2v2" in their 2v2 Videos thread, maybe that's the way to do it. This is an old comment. No one seems to care so I changed teams to a redirect to doubles. Doubles should be the main article name as it's unambiguous, a team could be 3 vs. 1, or a crew. Ryzol (talk) 16:50, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Merge[edit]

Very Strong No Merge. Doubles is a type of event that is held at many tournaments or by itself. Sure there are many things that could be added to this article, but it is deserving of it's own page. Clarinet Hawk (talk · contributions) 15:41, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

It requires expansion, but yeah, it has nothing to do with team combos. --RJM Talk 21:26, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Template[edit]

Is it possible to get the template for "Doubles _____ mains" changed so that it reflects if a single character is used? Currently, even if there's one character typed up when editing a doubles main, it will still read "mains". You can see this on Yayuhzz's page for an example.
