Somethings regarding Melee's Game Over screen, the [https://i.imgur.com/8zxaQYw.png states (0 and 1) provided after the coin check at it's initialization] and not the coin check on 3 other different commands itself tell the game to delete the Continue planes but doesn't affect the Yes and No buttons and only blocked if an auto option was used (i.e Game Over) even though they were targeted ([https://i.imgur.com/CtyNyti.png code] and [https://i.imgur.com/BzlrvSf.png proof]) before the scene pops up with the trophy falling without the audio effects playing on the background and right after the trophy lands with a Game Over state in place, it's Game Over. In addition, [https://i.imgur.com/CDp0fjn.png automatic continuation] only reduces the score and leaves the coins unaffected while manually using it subtracts the coins.

Another coin check decides if the Yes button can be selected or do nothing leaving the player no choice to quit if it had a choice to Continue with low coinage (which the action's already unused as the Game Over state will be in effect by the time the coin amounts with the required have been checked during load) and if that's disabled, that'll give it 999 coins after using a Continue by manually selecting it.
