He got banned

So, I saw this post regarding TM7_ZAP and found out that he got banned for a year. The offense was for playing on the behalf of another smasher, that being DGM17076, in many tournaments they both attended, whether they were collegiate or by Start.gg. Apparently, there was also a time where he won a bracket with $1,200 USD as the payout to first place, with an additional $80 USD by DGM for his run.

I was shocked and confused at the same time when I saw this, so I think this is the first time that ZAP has been involved in a controversial situation. SparerSeeker230 (talk) 03:10, June 20, 2026 (UTC)

The post you sent didn't say he was banned, but that the person recommended a 1 year ban. I do think he will at least get some consequence for this because of the fraud. CookiesCreme 17:40, June 20, 2026 (UTC)
