From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Vargas was a Super Smash Bros. Melee Samus player from Paris, France. Active in the French competitive scene from 2003 to 2007, he was considered the best Samus player in France, briefly contending for that title with Joanna Dark until his transition to Falco, and among the best players overall, placing 4th on the September 2005 SSBUP Rankings. As a member of the Nintendo League association, centered around hosting Nintendo-related events in conventions, Vargas is also notable as a tournament organizer as he frequently hosted Melee tournaments in said conventions, such as Festival International des Jeux 2006, and in standalone events, such as T-Lan.
Vargas would stop frequently entering Melee tournaments around 2006, citing a lack of interest in competition, to focus on his activities with Nintendo League, which he remains associated with to this day.
