'''Tsu''' is a Smasher from [[Hokkaidō]], known for his [[Lucario]] in two different ''Smash'' titles and being one of the best ''Smash'' players from Hokkaidō.

Tsu began competing in {{forwiiu}} as a {{SSB4|Lucario}} player, where he broke out onto the Japanese scene after placing 3rd at {{Trn|Umebura 24}} defeating {{Sm|KEN}} before placing top 8 at {{Trn|Umebura S.A.T.}} the following month, defeating {{Sm|Ranai}} along the way. His breakout tournament internationally took place at {{Trn|Frostbite 2017}}, where he surprised audiences by defeating {{Sm|ZeRo}} and placing 2nd at the tournament, by far the greatest Lucario performance in ''Smash 4''. With additional success at large events and wins over other top players, Tsu is widely considered the greatest ''Smash 4'' Lucario player of all time, and was ultimately ranked 32nd on the [[PGR 100]] as the only Lucario player on the ranking's top 50.

In early-''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'', Tsu was also a {{SSBU|Lucario}} player, and found great success with the character despite the character's nerfs during the transition, most notably placing 5th at the supermajor {{Trn|Umebura Japan Major 2019}} and 2nd at the superregional {{Trn|2GG: Grand Tour - South Carolina}}. The former performance remained untied as the best ''Ultimate'' Lucario performance at a major for many years, until {{Sm|Gachipi}} matched the placement at {{Trn|Seibugeki 17}}, and still remains one of the greatest Lucario performances in ''Ultimate''. Due to these early results, Tsu was ranked 44th on the [[Spring 2019 PGRU]]. His results eventually declined as he changed his focus towards other characters, notably {{SSBU|Terry}} and {{SSBU|Cloud}}, and as such received less attention as the metagame progressed. Nevertheless, Tsu remains one of the greatest ''Ultimate'' Lucario players of all time, as well as the only Lucario player to rank in the top 50.

*Tsu is infamous for liking pictures of anime girls on [[Twitter]], even creating a list called "hentai friends", which has since become a meme.
*During a podcast with {{Sm|kept}}, {{Sm|Paseriman}} and {{Sm|taranito}}, he discussed being at "his peak" in Smash, with taranito joking that he "might be {{Sm|Sparg0}}." Tsu then jokingly used the phrase multiple times on [[Twitter]], and said he was a "reincarnation of Sparg0" after winning a [https://www.start.gg/tournament/weekly-smash-party-sp-56/event/special-1on1-ultimate-singles/brackets/1153211/1788753 Sumapa] weekly, resulting in it becoming a meme.
