'''Souther''' (サウザー) is a {{b|Kansai|region}} Smasher. He was first active in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Melee]]'' before finding greater success in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Brawl]]'', where he played {{SSBB|Snake}}. He was not only one of the best Japanese players in ''Brawl''{{'}}s early years, but also one of the best Snake players during that time as well. He was notably the first ''Brawl'' Snake player to win a [[Major (SSBB)|major]], doing so at {{Trn|KetubatoX 2}}. Though he never won a major afterwards, he remained a hidden boss in Japan, regularly placing in the single digits. 

Outside of ''Brawl'', Souther found some early success in {{forwiiu}}, playing {{SSB4|Captain Falcon}} and defeating players such as {{Sm|Nietono}} and {{Sm|Gomamugicha}} at {{Trn|KSB 2015}}. He stopped regularly competing around 2017, though he would later return to play ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'' in the 2020s.
