Skyjay is well-known for his high-risk, high-reward playstyle, looking for many opportunities to KO his opponent as fast as possible. Once he has his opponent trapped in the corner, he uses Alolan Whip to catch his opponents jumping out or shielding. Skyjay also frequently uses Revenge when he knows his opponent will attack out of disadvantage or approach predictably. He is also well known for instilling fear and nervousness in his opponents through his use of Revenge to have his opponents play more cautious yet predicable.
