Although active since 2021 on [[Smashmate]], he wouldn’t gain recognition until his performance at {{Trn|Sumabato SP 40}} and even further recognition globally after having a breakout major event at {{Trn|Sumabato SP Ultimate}}; placing 4th, before eventually winning his first major at {{Trn|Sumabato SP 47}}. He has since been regarded as the greatest Luigi player of all-time, winning or frequently placing at or near the top 8 at every major/supermajor he attended after his victory at Sumabato SP 47. Raru is the first and only [[Luigi]] player to win a major in ''Smash Bros.'' history, let alone multiple.

==Playstyle==
Raru's playstyle with Luigi involves a passive-aggressive style. He is usually not quick to approach due to Luigi's generally unsafe approach options and sluggish air speed, and will slow down the pace of the game by throwing out [[Fireball]]s and [[grab aerial]]s to ice the opponent out. Should his opponent become vulnerable to an attack, Raru will waste no time to land a grab or aerial to start a combo and outright KO the opponent right on the spot, or rack up extremely high amounts of damage before resetting into neutral to prepare for another KO confirm later. He is also known to be very consistent with his [[zero-to-death]] combos compared to other Luigi players, and almost always reacts perfectly to the opponent's [[DI]] when getting a down throw, tilt attack or aerial attack at mid-to-high percentages, allowing him to take stocks at incredible speeds.

However, Raru is also known to get visibly flustered in bad matchups where he is constantly barred from approach against characters that can camp him out effectively; this prevents him from making the best out of his otherwise lethal combo game, and allows players to capitalize while Raru is in disadvantage, sometimes leading to him losing great leads over his opponent.
