Lima made his debut in {{forwiiu}}, where he first broke out onto the global scene by placing 9th at {{Trn|EVO 2017}}, then following it up with a 2nd-place finish at {{Trn|Canada Cup 2017}} and his first major top 8 at {{Trn|2GGC: MkLeo Saga}}. He found even greater success in the following year, when he notably won {{Trn|EVO 2018}} in a controversial grand finals, where he and {{Sm|CaptainZack}} were accused for treating their sets in an unprofessional manner. Nevertheless, this victory, alongside several other top 8 major finishes, established Lima as one of the best {{SSB4|Bayonetta}} players in the world in the game's final year.

Lima continued to play {{SSBU|Bayonetta}} in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]'', but he saw limited success in the early metagame, in part due to the severe nerfs Bayonetta received during her transition from ''Smash 4''. Nevertheless, Lima stuck with the character, and thanks to update patches that buffed Bayonetta, he saw improved results in the post-[[COVID-19 pandemic]] metagame, placing top 8 at several majors during this period, including placing 2nd at {{Trn|Litvitational 3}} and {{Trn|Cirque 4}}, and winning a major at {{Trn|GSM}}. As such, Lima is often considered one of the greatest Bayonetta players of all-time, alongside {{Sm|Bloom4Eva}} and {{Sm|TamaPDaifuku}}, and one of the players responsible for Bayonetta's rise in the metagame.

On December 6th, 2017, Lima was signed by EarthRoot Gaming, which he left a few months later on May 25th, 2018.

==Playstyle==
Lima plays an unconventional stylish and punish game. Perfectly spacing Bayonetta's aerials alongside mixing up with After Burner Kick to get 0-deaths and to simply just rack up damage, he is also known for how he plays the neutral game, having an excellent game plan as well as respecting the options his opponent throws out; if they whiff out an option, Lima will use Witch Time, and use this information to understand what unsafe option they threw out which puts his opponent in a terrible position, either their stock being taken or in disadvantage half the time.

==Trivia==
*At {{Trn|Super Smash Con: Fall Fest}}, Lima had to play {{Sm|WaDi}} for top 48 winners. After Lima claimed that it would be an "easy win" for him, he got double 2 stocked by WaDi.
*Lima is also known for getting his Twitter account suspended multiple times during his Smash career in which the circumstances for most of these suspensions are not given.  This has earned him the title, "Twitter Diva".
