'''Kage''' (pronounced "kah-gay"), also known as '''Kage the Warrior''', is a ''[[Melee]]'' {{SSBM|Ganondorf}} player from [[Canada]] who is widely considered to be the greatest Ganondorf player of all time. Kage rose to notoriety for his upset at [[Revival of Melee 2]] where he double eliminated {{Sm|Mango}}, who was considered the best player in the world at the time, with a 2-0 victory in Winners Quarters (with [https://youtu.be/Mi29XrtA7rg a 3-stock against Mango's Falcon]) and a 2-1 victory in Losers Semifinals. However, he lost to {{Sm|Hungrybox}} in Winners Semis and {{Sm|PPMD}} in Losers Finals. Kage continues to be a threat in the ''Melee'' scene, consistently placing high at tournaments with a mid-tier character. 

At {{Trn|EVO 2015}}, he and {{Sm|Bizzarro Flame}} finally had their $100 [[money match]] at the Salty Suite, with Kage taking a convincing 5-0 victory. At {{Trn|The Big House 5}}, he notably took 7 stocks total off of {{Sm|Dizzkidboogie}} and {{Sm|Shroomed}} for Canada to win the upset over [[NorCal]] in the worldwide regional crew battles. After {{Trn|EVO 2016}}, he announced his intentions to focus more on his other characters, and less on Ganondorf, but still continues to primarily play Ganondorf and {{SSBM|Captain Falcon}}. On July 29th 2016, he was picked up by {{Team|Synthetik Gaming}}, but left them on June 19th, 2017. On February 18th, 2018, he joined Mirage.

He was formerly ranked 95th on the [[2019 MPGR]] and has previously been ranked 1st on the [[Montreal_Power_Rankings#Spring_2019|Montreal Power Rankings]] for ''Melee'', as well as having been formerly ranked 3rd for ''[[Project M]]''.
