The Smash 64 Player Awards are a series of honors awarded annually by The 64 Story to commemorate various achievements of Super Smash Bros. smashers. The 2016 edition was revealed from January 1st-7th, 2017. The 2017 edition was revealed from January 6th-14th, 2018. The 2018 edition was revealed from January 12th-20th, 2019. The 2019 edition was revealed from December 21st-31st, 2019.


Each member of a panel voted on a 1st and 2nd place for an award, with the 1st place vote counting as 2 points and the 2nd place vote counting as 1 point. The player(s) with the most points is the recipient of the award. The 2016 edition had 40 panelists. The 2017 edition had 30 panelists. The 2018 edition had 24 panelists. The 2019 edition had 21 panelists.
