==Enemy description==
Puppits looks like a marionette that float around the stage hanging from four strings, slashing at players with its long claws. Its attack is weak, but has good [[knockback]]. However, the Puppit itself has fairly low health. Puppits can also shoot lasers from their eyes, which is telegraphed by their eyes flashing. This attack can be easily dodged by jumping as well as [[reflect]]ed and/or [[absorb]]ed. During their entrance, Puppits are dropped down, their bodies poised in a random position. After a second, the Puppit will right itself and attack.

If a Puppit hasn't been defeated within 1920 frames (32 seconds), it will be pulled back up and despawn. Whether this counts as "defeating" depends on parameters defined for each instance.

While a Puppit is in "chase" mode, it will gradually charge up to fire beams at the player. After firing its beams it will shake and rattle, as if cackling, even if none of the beams hit a player.

The amount of time it takes to fully charge decreases as difficulty increases. It will fire 1.8 + 0.5d (rounded down, minimum 1) beams at the player with 50 - 4d [[frame]]s between each shot. Each beam will have a random velocity between 3 and 5 [[unit]]s/frame and will last up to 60 frames (1 second). The beams are slightly affected by [[gravity]], falling by 0.01 units/frame².
