Dark Samus fires a wide laser ahead of her for several seconds. The beam keeps opponents trapped and hits them multiple times, building up [[damage]] before a final [[knockback|launching]] blow as the move ends, and can be angled up or down while firing. The move is functionally identical to {{SSBU|Samus}}'s {{b|Zero Laser|Samus}}, though it lacks the thruster boosters that deal additional damage.
