'''Nicaragua''' is a ''Smash'' region that encompasses the country of {{iw|wikipedia|Nicaragua}}. It borders [[Honduras]] to the north and [[Costa Rica]] to the south. 

Compared to the other [[Central America]]n ''Smash'' regions, Nicaragua's scene is rather small, with only a few players such as {{Sm|BHIO}} making any notable impact outside of their region. Likewise, the region rarely, if ever, hosts events that feature players from outside their region, and has only a couple of events with triple-digit entrants. Conversely, the region is known for being the home region of {{Sm|n0ne}}, one of the best ''[[Melee]]'' {{SSBM|Captain Falcon}} players, and as such, he is perhaps the best-known ''Melee'' player from Central America.
