The New Japan Philharmonic, abbreviated as NJP, is a symphony orchestra based in Tokyo, Japan. It was established in 1972 with Seiji Ozawa as honorary conductor laureate.

The ensemble has primarily performed orchestral, live covers for video games, such as for the Resident Evil series and the Kingdom Hearts series. Among these varied symphonic covers include a performance of the music of Super Smash Bros. Melee; this performance was later given a physical release as Smashing...Live!.

Outside of its video game related endeavours, the ensemble has composed, arranged, conducted, and performed music for animated films, including films released by Studio Ghibli.
