Enemy description
Nagagogs have a spherical body with two arms and two legs and the Subspace Army's logo on their front. Their face, a flower-shaped region throughout their body, the Subspace Army's logo, and their limbs (with the exception of their hands and boot soles) are white. The rest of their body starts blue, then turns yellow, and then red as they take damage. On top of the head is a white curled hair strand.
Nagagogs have a spherical body that bears a representation of the Subspace Army's insignia on the belly, which, along with a curled and hair strand-like appendage atop their heads, their face which bears half oval-shaped and black eyes and a small mouth with thick lips, a large and flower-shaped marking situated around the upper half of their body that the insignia is connected to and their limbs are white. The rest of their body starts out colored blue, then yellow and finally red as they take damage.

A Nagagog will start off small and blue, but if its HP drops below 86%, it rubs its belly, makes a noise, then grows larger, also turning yellow in the process. Damaging it beyond 61% HP will cause it to turn into an even larger red version of itself. While the Nagagog is changing into a larger version of itself, it is immune to damage. The Nagagog cannot go back to previous forms.
A Nagagog will start off small and blue, but if it takes enough damage, it turns yellow and enhances its size. Further damage will cause it to turn red and enchance its size a second time. During each enhancement, The Nagagog is immune to damage, as well as being unable to revert to its previous forms.

One of its attacks involves it running towards the player and then flopping on top of them, similar to King Dedede's dash attack. It can also perform a series of three punches, hitting the ground twice with its forearms and finishing with an overhead punch—these punches also create a shockwave in front of Nagagog that will hit grounded players from a distance. If a player is above it, it can perform a spinning jump, dealing damage throughout the entire jump. The larger form the Nagagog is in, the more damage and knockback it deals, but the attack speed is slowed down, making them decidedly nonthreatening for such a large enemy.
A Nagagog's HP is lowered faster by attacks when it is in its larger form. It attacks like a sumo wrestler, jumping on top of the player. It may also do a move similar to Donkey Kong's Hand Slap, but without the shockwave. The larger form the Nagagog is in, the more damage and knockback it deals, but the attack speed is slowed down, making them decidedly unthreatening for such a large enemy.

When captured using a Trophy Stand, it will show all three forms, regardless of which is caught. Nagagogs reference the Yokozuna rank of sumo wrestling, the highest rank possible.
