Editing List of SSBU Music (Kid Icarus series)

This is a list of music tracks pertaining to the {{uv|Kid Icarus}} universe in ''[[Super Smash Bros. Ultimate]]''. All tracks listed here are available to play on the three ''Kid Icarus'' stages in the game: [[Skyworld]], [[Reset Bomb Forest]], [[Palutena's Temple]], and, as of the [[List of updates (SSBU)#8.1.0 |8.1.0 update]], {{SSBU|Battlefield}}, [[Small Battlefield]], {{SSBU|Big Battlefield}}, and {{SSBU|Final Destination}}.

This track is a medley of music pieces in ''Kid Icarus'', retained in their original chiptune format. The track consists of the Title Screen theme, the Underworld theme, the Dungeon theme, the Stage Clear jingle, the Overworld theme, the Skyworld theme, the Palace in the Sky theme, and the Game Over jingle. These segments are ported from the Famicom version of ''Kid Icarus'', rather than the NES version.

This track is an orchestral remix of the music that plays in the Overworld levels in ''Kid Icarus''. A short portion of it uses the melody from "The Girl I Left Behind", an English folk song.

This is [[Magnus]]'s theme, taken directly from ''Kid Icarus: Uprising''. In that game, it plays when he is first met in Chapter 2, "Magnus and the Dark Lord", and when the player takes control of him in Chapter 18, "The Ring of Chaos".

A remix of the music that plays during chapter 8, "The Space-Pirate Ship", in ''Kid Icarus: Uprising''. This song was rearranged by its original composer, Noriyuki Iwadare. It uses a similar orchestral style to the original track with a new rock-inspired electric guitar and drumline.

''Wrath of the Reset Bomb'' is a dramatic orchestral suite of the piece of the same name from ''Kid Icarus: Uprising'', which plays during chapter 12, "Wrath of the Reset Bomb", and serves as [[Viridi]]'s character theme. This song was rearranged by its original composer, Yuzo Koshiro. The song begins exactly like the original, using the same first half heard at the start of the air battle segments of chapters 12 and 18, but after it finishes, it crescendos into a new second half that's not found in the original nor any of the other soundtracks in ''Uprising''. When played on [[Reset Bomb Forest]], the music syncs up with the narrative of the stage—reaching a crescendo when Viridi drops the Reset Bomb and looping to the start when the stage returns to normal—though unlike {{for3ds}}, it will become desynchronized if the game is paused or the gameplay speed is altered.

This is the ground battle theme for chapter 14 of ''Kid Icarus: Uprising'', "Lightning Battle", the stage in the game where [[Phosphora]] is fought. This track is taken directly from the original game. Right before the loop ends, this song also quotes the ''Underworld'' theme from ''Kid Icarus''.

A remix of the music that plays during chapter 19, "The Lightning Chariot", in ''Kid Icarus: Uprising''. This song was rearranged by its original composer, Masafumi Takada. It has a similar symphonic style, but with a higher tempo and overlaid electric guitar.

A remix of the music played in ''Kid Icarus Uprising'' during chapter 20, where (as the title implies) Skyworld was ravaged by Underworld forces while Palutena was under the Chaos Kin's influence. Where the original theme originally used a solo horn and trumpet for the melody, the remix instead features a female vocalist, otherwise retaining its similar solemn orchestration.

 

This track was used in {{SSBU|Palutena}}'s character trailer on the official website, in her Classic Mode credits and in the [[World of Light]] sub-world [[Temple of Light]].
