==Overview==
The move involves Little Mac transforming into [[Giga Mac]], immediately followed by a rush forward that, if successfully landed, leads to a series of rapid punches that traps and launches the opponent before the Final Smash ends, similar to [[Jungle Rush]], {{SSBU|Donkey Kong}}'s new Final Smash, albeit with slightly less knockback to compensate for the added range potential. The ''Ultimate'' version of Giga Mac joins all former "transformed moveset" Final Smashes (such as [[Giga Bowser]] and [[Wario-Man]]) in losing its player-controlled moveset in favor of a quick attack that returns players more promptly to normal gameplay.

==Origin==

In the two-player mode of ''Punch-Out!!'' for the [[Wii]], both players control a Little Mac; either can turn into Giga Mac after punching the opponent enough times in a certain area. If they do, the game then shifts from two evenly-matched Little Macs fighting in split-screen to gameplay resembling the single-player mode, with Little Mac fighting a larger and slower Mac. The player controlling Giga Mac gains slower but stronger attacks, in addition to a taunt.
