Article description: (description ) This attribute controls the content of the description and og:description elements. | So, the rights to the domain name www.smashwiki.com have expired. GoDaddy is the holder and seller of those rights, but at the present, it is in a window where the old owner can renew it before it goes up. I am going to make a thread about this on SmashBoards, as I believe they held the rights before the merge. In the meantime, is keeping the domain-name www.smashwiki.com important to everyone? I believe that we should try to keep it as many people still know it by that domain name. If we don't keep it, it's not terrible, as a Google search on SmashWiki still give the primary domain name, as does the link at the top of SmashBoards. That said, many old links will go out of date, and we become harder to find to someone who just hears of SmashWiki and tries that. Should we have to renew it ourselves, it is going to be between $10-$15 a year... Any thoughts? Clarinet Hawk 14:36, July 10, 2010 |
